Here are seven foods you should never buy at the airport.

Washing leafy greens does not remove all germs.

That’s because germs can stick to the surface of leaves and even get inside them.

Pair that with a flight at 35,000 feet, and you’ll be a swollen mess.

But maybe hold off on having a few too many because the effects in the air could be disastrous.

This decreased pressure environment diminishes the body’s ability to absorb oxygen and it can produce lightheadedness.
