When I arrived at the restaurant, a staff member performed a smoke energy-cleansing ritual.
The food was deliciousthe tuna tartaremoletewith plantains and fried chili sauce stood outand presented beautifully.
Mezquite is the resort’s elegant beachfront eatery.

I recommend the smoked local oysters.
The rest of the on-site bars, Tuki and The Lounge at Codex, offer delightful hand-crafted cocktails.
However, thezarandeadobeach barbecue was the highlight of the culinary offerings.

The feast starts with a freshly prepared ceviche, but the star of the show is the grilled fish.
There’s even dessert offered afterward to fulfill any lingering cravings.
