A popular train route connecting the two cities is reopening after a 19-month closure.

The hugely populartrain route connecting Paris and Milanis reopening after a 19-month closure.

At its peak, the railway line saw between 30 and 35 trains a day.

The routeclosed suddenly in August 2023following a landslide in the Maurienne Valley that buried the railway tunnel.

The first trains will depart on the popular route on March 31, with daily service to follow.

And the best part?

The station is considered one of the citysBeaux-arts architectural masterpiecesand dates back to 1849.

It welcomes around 150 million passengers a year.
