Waking up in a five-star hotel every time that Im filming here has been surreal.
Off camera, Thapthimthong lives like any other local.
Hes based inBangkokand his passion for fitness leads him outside of the city for hiking and bouldering whenever possible.

Since being here, Im very adventurous, he said.
Its been eye-opening for me, Im like, Oh wow, thats what these rooms look like.
But regardless of accommodations, the actors explorations didnt stop when he landed his role inTheWhite Lotus.

Ill eat at the nearest restaurant I see, Im not that picky with food, he said.
