The new flights start in June.

Starting June 14, the airline will launch weekly roundtrip flights from Detroit and Sacramento,according to Alaska.

Each of the flights will operate on Saturdays until Aug. 16 on a Boeing 737 aircraft.

For Alaskans, we now have even more nonstop destinations to visit family and friends this summer.

That flight will resume on May 15 and operate daily through Aug. 19 on an Embraer E175 aircraft.
