The Hudson Navigator, a boutique hotel in Hudson, New York, opened May 1.

Here’s a first look inside.

The hotels design concept celebrates Hudsons history as the Northeasts once-thriving whaling capital.

We wanted the hotel to reflect that heritagenot just in design, but in spirit.

The nine guest rooms feature high-end touches like electric fireplaces, soaking tubs, and heated bathroom floors.

The hotel, set behind a white picket fence, also encompasses a library and a peaceful garden.
