We were coming from Tokyo to Japans Aomori Prefecture, the northernmost region of Japans main island,Honshu.

There are four differentonsens: three indooronsensseparated by gender, and one large outdoor co-edonsen.

Theryokanpulled out all the stops at mealtimes.
