Boomers are thinking outside the box.

Baby boomers, aka those born between 1946 and 1964, are retiring at a record pace.

In fact,according to AARP, some 10,000 people in the age demographic retire each day, whileU.S.

Census Datashows that 1 in 6 Americans is now over the age of 65.

And many of them are moving to new locations to live out their golden years.

The growth was spread to different parts of the country, outside of the traditional retirement locations.

So, what do these cities have that others dont?

Competitive rents for many of the above-mentioned markets are also a great draw for our senior community.

But still, theres nothing wrong with bucking a trend and trying somewhere new, right?
