Specifically, the NPS says Washington DC’s famed cherry blossoms will peak sooner than you think.

The trees you’ll find in the Tidal Basin include varieties of Yoshino and Kwanzan trees.
This year’s Cherry Blossom Festival is also perfectly timed, taking place between March 20 and April 14.
