She first touched the land on a stone in present-day Hyakuna Beach.
These places are plentiful on the big island known as Naha.

Here’s my review of the Halekulani Okinawa, a tropical oasis that allows you to unwind and heal.
The property is divided into two wings beach and sunset.
Each wing also has five villas with a private onsen and pool.
Nearby Kingdom is seafood- and meat-focused.
It offers grilled lobster and steak options, including sirloins, T-bones, and tomahawks.
Osetra caviar is also served, with a bevy of accompaniments from creme fraiche to blinis.
(My personal favorite was the braised oxtail soup.)
There were about seven appetizers and eight types of sushi, including everything from tuna to conger eel.
The menu changes seasonally, but its always a five-course prix fixe course with an optional wine pairing.
These are itineraries designed for participants to learn more about the local culture and their secrets to longevity.
Its open until 11 p.m., so you could enjoy a pre-sleep soak after a long day.
The gym is open 24 hours a day.
Family-friendly Offerings
The property is perfect for families and couples.
The Orchid pool, for families, also serves ice cream while you lounge.
There is also a kids club in the basement, and swim lessons are available.
Here, you could visit Shuri Castle or shop at Makishi Public Market.
